Every year in the month of October, we take out one day to have a staff retreat to evaluate our work in the past year, realign our focus for the coming year, and engage in some fun activities as a team.
The 2025 edition of our annual staff retreat was held at Radisson Blu Anchorage Hotel, Victoria – Island, and our guest speaker was Engr. Obi Charles Nnanna, the Founder and CEO of Kaltani International Ventures Ltd.
The theme of this year’s retreat was “The Hedgehog Advantage: Doing What We Do Best”, and Engr. Nnanna challenged us on developing our minds and talents to deliver the best pediatric services.
We also had some fun group tasks and games across 4 teams (Team Blue, Red, Green, and Purple) which produced lots of laughter and team bonding.
The MD, Dr Ekuase Sanusi, reminded us of our core values, and our vision for the coming years, and we broke out into groups to discuss how each team within the organization will contribute to our success as a group.
Prizes were also given to staff who had been voted as winners in prize categories of Office Fashionista, Energy Bunny, Best Office Duo, and Best Social Media Video of the year, and a special recognition for service award was given to Ms Busayo Amosun, who is the Head of our nursing team, who has worked in PPH since 2016.
We also have winners of a raffle draw who won some amazing gifts at this year’s staff retreat
At the end of the days’ events, Team Purple emerged as the winner of the group tasks and games
Altogether, it was a wonderful outing with very fond memories that will last us for a long time
